Getting Started

Opening Your Account
In order to create your BlocPal Account, simply download the BlocPal Wallet App from the Apple App Store / Google Play Store onto your mobile device.

*Please note you will need a valid email address and mobile phone number that must both be verified in order to create your BlocPal Account.

Email & SMS verification
In order to start using your BlocPal Account, both your email address and mobile phone number must be verified.

Email: We will send an email to the email address you register on your BlocPal Account. Simply follow the instructions in the email to verify your email address. If you haven’t received the email, please check that your email address was inputted correctly without error and also check your Junk/Spam email folder. If you have any difficulties, please contact us at support@blocpal.com for help.

SMS: We will send an SMS to the mobile phone number you register on your BlocPal Account. When you receive the message, take note of the confirmation code and enter it on the BlocPal Wallet App's phone verification screen. If you haven’t received the SMS, please check that your phone number was correctly inputted without error. If you have any difficulties, please contact us at support@blocpal.com for help.

Identity Verification

In order to fully utilize your BlocPal Account you will have to verify your identity through our KYC process. To do this simply open the BlocPal Wallet App and go to Settings -> Verification -> User Documents. Here you must upload three documents to prove your identity:

Selfie: Please use the camera on your mobile device to take a selfie of yourself with your government issued ID. Please hold your ID close to, but not obstructing, your face when taking the photograph.

Government Issued ID: A clear copy of your passport, drivers license, or other valid government issued ID must be uploaded in the app.

Proof of Address: Proof of address must be a utility bill or official government correspondence no more than 3 months old that contains an official header or seal from the sender and your name and mailing address. This address must match the address you have entered into the app in the Residence screen, found by navigating to Settings -> Residence.

Once you upload your documents they will remain pending until approved by our Support team. If you have any questions about the status of your KYC documentation approval please contact support@blocpal.com for help.
